Easter project with yarn scraps
Looking for a fun and creative Easter project that's suitable for both little kids and older children? We've got the perfect idea for you! Put those leftover pieces of yarn to good use and create a colorful Easter bunny. This festive decoration will be sure to bring a feeling of celebration to your home. Plus, it's a great way to get the whole family involved in the crafting fun!
For this Easter project, you will need:
- medium thickness paper,
- one white page,
- yarn scraps,
- glue,
- and a downloaded stencil.
Now let's get started and make a beautiful Easter bunny from yarn!
Step 1. Downloads a free stencil here and print it on medium thickness A4 paper. You can, of course, make it also smaller. Then cut out the bunny with scissors.
Step 2. Brush the edges of the bunny with a bit of glue. Make sure the glue is spread out evenly and doesn't clump up. Start laying the yarn threads across the "cut out bunny," pressing them down slightly as you go. Keep going until the entire bunny is covered.
Step 3. Apply a layer of glue to the edges of the paper and stick the white page on top. This will cover the "reverse" side of your work.
For the idea! You can make this a bunny as a wall art and frame it, write a greeting on it, or prepare a smaller bunny as a greeting card!
